Boy's Found Sleeping in a Tree, Rescued from the
Streets
Lester and Eleazar (11 and
12 year old brothers) have been brought into the children's home family.
They were reportedly begging on the streets of a nearby town. When
the Diaz family went to investigate, they found that the boys were
spending each night sleeping in a tree. Apparently, the tree gave
them some refuge from roaming animals, and protection from abuse by
other street toughs. There are now 39 children receiving care
through the children's home.
