New Curriculum Making an Impact
Burleson, Texas - We introduced and tested our new Practically Speaking Conversational English and Practically Speaking Business English curriculums during recent ministries in Nicaragua and Belarus.  Now, in Novosibirsk, Russia the materials are being put to full use.  The feedback we are receiving from students and our volunteer teachers is very positive.  The new materials brought the quality of the English classes and the experiences of our volunteer teachers to an all time high level.

The materials have been printed and organized in a way that they have a professional look.  The added durability that comes with the use of sheet protectors and lamination will allow the materials to withstand repeated use.  This has been an expensive process, but an expense that will pay off over the life of these materials. 

We are very grateful to those of you who made a special contribution toward the expenses of these new materials.
 

Training and Orientation in Fort Worth - June 2
Fort Worth, Texas - Our training and orientation events have already taken us to Georgia and Mississippi and the campus of SWBTS this spring.  Training and orientation for local teams is now scheduled for Saturday, June 2 from 12 noon until 6 p.m. at Hulen Street Baptist Church in Fort Worth.  The church is located at 7100 South Hulen Street (corner of S. Hulen Street and Brandingshire).

The training is required for those going to Bogota, Minsk, Novosibirsk, and Managua during 2007.  This event is also open to anyone who is interested in joining us on a future Practically Speaking English event.
 

Practically Speaking English in Texas
Richardson, Texas - Dear friends of ours, Carl and Kerry Lorey, are working to reach the refugee community there.  They have organized a Practically Speaking English event that will take place in mid-June.  This will be the first time our program will have been tried in the U.S. 

We have worked together overseas for many years and we are very excited to be partnering with Carl and Kerry again in their new work.
