EVANGELISM through English Language

Our teams for 2007 are filling up, but we have room for you.

Imagine yourself sitting with several friends, helping them to practice their English language skills. After a few days of being together and praying for each of these friends, imagine the thrill of seeing many of them come to Christ. We have seen hundreds of people like you step out in faith to reach the lost, like those in Nicaragua. This proven method of evangelism (basically “friendship evangelism”) has been used all over the world to reach thousands of people. We will train you, prepare you, and equip you to be part of something amazing.

December 30, 2006 to January 13, 2007 (Evangelism through Conversational English - Managua, Nicaragua at Libertad Baptist Church)

January 13 - 27, 2007 (Evangelism through Conversational English - Managua, Nicaragua at Hebron Baptist Church)

February 2 - 10, 2007 (Evangelism through Business English - Minsk, Belarus)

We need 10-12 adult men and women for each ministry site to reach the 400-500 adults that will attend each event. Each teacher will need a valid U.S. passport. Passports can be easily obtained and we will help you with that process.

The curriculum is super easy to teach and very little preparation is required. We provide the teaching materials and will train you in how to facilitate the exercises. The students do most of the work. Read more about the course and course topics at http://www.psenglish.com.

In Managua

As you read this, I am probably already in Managua, Nicaragua making preparations for the January 2007 ministries. Very important national elections will take place November 5 throughout Nicaragua. We are praying that any new leadership will lead the nation with integrity and will continue to welcome Christian work in their country.

Doors Open in Bogotá, Colombia

After a successful ministry in Bogota this past summer, we have been invited to return next summer. The exact dates have not been set, but we expect to take a team back to Bogota during June 2007.

The most exciting thing about this event is that more than two-thirds of our students will be public school teachers. We have a wonderful opportunity to reach some very influential people with the gospel of Christ.

Children's Home Project News

We still have not received the final document from the government in Nicaragua. We are somewhat frustrated, but at the same time we can see God's timing in everything if we remain patient and expectant. In the meantime, we continue to help feed and clothe the 39 children living in the Diaz private home.

2007 Calendar Available

Our 2007 calendar is already filling with English language evangelism events, Business English evangelism events, prison ministry and the Children's Home project. We need lots of volunteers to fill all these projects with laborers. We've just updated our website (www.jodykennedy.com) with the 2007 schedule. We are praying for volunteers and finances to accomplish these vital projects.
